Nov. 11 at 10:50 a.m. - Firefighters quickly and safely mitigated the incident with no injuries or loss of life.

Nov. 8 at 4:02 p.m. - SFD was dispatched Sunday evening at 9:50 PM to the area of 2300 Block of South Rebecca Street to the report of a residence on fire.

Two Kayakers Rescued From Spokane River

July 19 at 11:02 a.m. - SFD rescued two adults in the Spokane River near Downriver Golf Course when their inner-tube struck a rock and ejected them into the river.

June 28 at 7:30 a.m. - For the safety of our community and fire personnel, SFD is postponing our remaining fire station vaccination clinics for the month of June.

April 28 at 4:41 p.m. - Before midnight on Tuesday, SFD was dispatched to 800 W Spokane Falls Blvd for a hazardous materials incident involving a natural gas leak.

April 19 at 2:24 p.m. - SFD responds to the 4300 Block of North Maple Street on a report of a possible house fire.

April 12 at 4:15 p.m. - SFD responded to Mission Avenue and Washington Street for a 911 report of smoke visible in a large building.

Teams Deliver COVID-19 Vaccine Upstream

April 8 at 2:59 p.m. - Disabled and homebound CARES Clients received COVID-19 vaccine over the past two days by the Spokane Fire Department's Integrated Medical Division.

April 8 at 12:09 p.m. - April 7, at approximately 7:40 pm, SFD responded to the area of East Princeton Avenue /North Division Street to a 911 report of a house on fire.

Deputy Fire Marshal Near Miss

Jan. 15 at 10:59 a.m. - Deputy Fire Marshal's vehicle crushed by Ponderosa Pine tree while he occupied the driver's seat. He was uninjured and able to walk away.
