Spokane Police arrest man for attempted 2nd degree murder

11:53 p.m. - SPD arrest man for attempted 2nd degree murder after violent attack at local business. The suspect used a baseball bat to assault a female.

SPD investigating shooting incident in downtown Spokane.

4:47 p.m. - Washington between Main and Spokane Falls is closed. Main between Stevens and Bernard is closed.

SIRR Team Investigating Spokane Valley Officer Involved Shooting

10:42 a.m. - Armed male refuses Spokane Valley Deputies commands and is shot.

Aug. 8

SPD Searching for Man with Dementia

3:46 p.m. - Man with dementia missing from the area of 5800 W. Rifle Club Rd.

SPD Arrests armed carjacking suspects in Northwest Spokane.

3:32 a.m. - Three juvenile males were arrested for multiple charges including attempted armed robbery and felony assault. A replica firearm was located.
