7:17 a.m. - SPD Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred early this morning in the 1300 block of west Maxwell.

UPDATE: Major Crimes Investigating Homicide on Spokane's South Hill

8:42 a.m. - Detectives are investigating a homicide on Spokane’s South Hill. The victim in last night’s shooting succumbed to his wounds at an area hospital.

Upriver to Open Shortly; Collision Investigators Process Crash Scene

7 p.m. - Drivers are being asked to use an alternate route for the next 20 minutes or so as investigators process the scene of a crash at Upriver and Haven.

1:59 p.m. - Spokane Police took a man into custody after a standoff that lasted several hours yesterday. Mark Cebriak was booked into jail on 4 separate charges.

UPDATE: SPD Arrests Suspect Who Robbed Elderly Man

10:26 a.m. - Spokane Police Officers, following up on tips from the public, arrested Maressa A Morris (22) for 1st Degree Robbery and 2nd Degree Assault yesterday.

UPDATE: Suspect in Violent Assault Receives over 9 year Sentence

12:47 p.m. - Adrian Washington has received a 112 month sentence after pleading guilty to 1st Burglary, 2nd Assault, and 1st Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Spokane Police Kick Off Police Activities League This Week

11:18 a.m. - The 2016 edition of Spokane Police Activities League (PAL) is underway. Sessions began next yesterday at local parks & run through August.
