1:16 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide in northeast Spokane.
8:12 a.m. - MCU is working w/Spokane Regional Safe Streets Task Force to investigate a shooting that occurred this morning in the 2100 bock of west Sharp.
7:17 a.m. - SPD Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred early this morning in the 1300 block of west Maxwell.
8:42 a.m. - Detectives are investigating a homicide on Spokane’s South Hill. The victim in last night’s shooting succumbed to his wounds at an area hospital.
7 p.m. - Drivers are being asked to use an alternate route for the next 20 minutes or so as investigators process the scene of a crash at Upriver and Haven.
3:59 p.m. - SPD's next Coffee w/a Cop event is this Thurs., July 28th, from 8-10:00a at McDonald’s, 3416 N. Market. All community members are invited to attend.
12:06 p.m. - Trauma and its effects on police, firefighters and mental health professionals is the subject of a two-day conference in Spokane next week.
7:13 p.m. - Spokane Police will be charging a female with several felonies after a brief traffic pursuit this afternoon.
1:59 p.m. - Spokane Police took a man into custody after a standoff that lasted several hours yesterday. Mark Cebriak was booked into jail on 4 separate charges.
2:09 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department is investigating a vehicle vs pedestrian crash in the 5200 block of N. Division St.
8:09 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department is investigating a hit and run crash in the 1400 block of W Garland Ave.
10:26 a.m. - Spokane Police Officers, following up on tips from the public, arrested Maressa A Morris (22) for 1st Degree Robbery and 2nd Degree Assault yesterday.
12:47 p.m. - Adrian Washington has received a 112 month sentence after pleading guilty to 1st Burglary, 2nd Assault, and 1st Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
11:18 a.m. - The 2016 edition of Spokane Police Activities League (PAL) is underway. Sessions began next yesterday at local parks & run through August.
