3:04 p.m. - The center house of Gaiser Conservatory will be closed for renovations from May 27 to September 30. Reopening is dependent on construction schedule.

No Pets in Riverfront Park During Major Events

2:05 p.m. - The City of Spokane Event Pet Ordinance SMC 10.03.110 prohibits dogs and other pets at major Riverfront Park events.

Felony Hit-And-Run Suspect Quickly Apprehended

10:03 a.m. - Officers arrest a hit-and-run suspect thanks to alert citizen tips and quick officer follow-up. Roderick Thomas was booked for Felony Hit-and-Run.

University District Bridge Open House

9:03 a.m. - City seeking input on proposed University District Bridge and will host an Open House to provide a progress update, answer questions and take input.
