8:44 p.m. - A male body was located in the Spokane River near the TJ Meenach Bridge this evening.
2:48 p.m. - Police have arrested and charged three people with 1st Degree Murder in connection to a body located in Kootenai County on May 16.
2:48 p.m. - Detectives are continuing to investigate two armed robberies that occurred on 05/19/2014 and working to determine if they are related.
Midnight - Spokane Police arrest repeat offender Nicholas L. Gillam (34), after he rammed the car he was driving into a police car.
7:28 p.m. - Spokane police responded to a report of a possible device at Davenport at Post/Sprague. Robert W. Malley (43) was booked into Spokane County Jail.
11:04 a.m. - Spokane Investigative Regional Response Team investigates auto-cyclist collision involving Spokane Valley Police Officer.

4:46 p.m. - Follow-up information from today’s news conference announcing SPD’s accreditation and the re-establishment of a Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy
Midnight - SPD's SIU Unit served a search warrant on a home in the 1100 block of west Jackson this morning.
5:34 p.m. - Mayor Condon and Chief Straub announce the SPD's achievement of state accreditation through the Washington Association of Sheriff and Police Chiefs.
1:08 p.m. - Seven-time convicted felon/repeat offender arrested for 2nd Degree Trafficking of Stolen Property.
5:03 p.m. - Detectives are investigating two armed robberies that occurred yesterday and working to determine if the two incidents are related.
10:03 a.m. - Officers arrest a hit-and-run suspect thanks to alert citizen tips and quick officer follow-up. Roderick Thomas was booked for Felony Hit-and-Run.

9:54 a.m. - A DUI driver hits an SPD Patrol vehicle and flees. Officers quickly arrest the suspect nearby; 43-year-old Aaron T. Scott. The officer was not injured
9:26 p.m. - His injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening and there is no suspect believed to be outstanding.
Midnight - Thirty-year-old Jy Jy Jones Arrested after Dispute with his Brother Ends in Gunfire
4:44 p.m. - Re-assignments in Downtown, Professional Standards, Investigations, and Civil Enforcement based on priorities and commitment to continued improvement.
12:17 p.m. - Spokane Police Patrol Anti-Crime Team officers identify, locate and arrest suspect for multiple counts of Forgery and Theft.
9:53 a.m. - Spokane Police Patrol vehicle and citizen vehicle hit at high rate of speed while stopped at stop light by Savannah L. Ashby.
5:21 p.m. - The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10" to 6’ tall, possibly 25 to 35 years of age. Sketch and further details provided.
3:53 p.m. - On 05-08-2014, at approximately 10 a.m., officers responded to W Francis after seeing a Toyota that matched the description of a stolen vehicle.
Midnight - On two separate occasions in the last couple of months, two different Walgreens have been the victims of a bizarre burglary.
3:19 p.m. - Police arrest a Burglary and Vehicle Theft suspect. Officers have connected the suspect to several other recent burglaries.
5:14 p.m. - SPD and other local law enforcement agencies will recognize officers who were killed in the line of duty at the Public Safety Building Cul-de-sac.
8:51 a.m. - Involved children are safe; Officers searching for dark green GMC Jimmy SUV. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
4:51 p.m. - The SPD is releasing the names of the officers involved in the shooting of homicide suspect Jeremy Arnold on the afternoon of April 29th, 2014.
