1 p.m. - Spokane Police Department is launching a program called the Youth and Police Initiative to build positive relationships between SPD and local youth.

SPD arrests four burglary suspects after they repel from roof

11 a.m. - Spokane Police arrest four Burglary suspects after they were located repelling through the roof access area of K-Mart on E. Sprague.

Jan. 27

Chief's Statement regarding arrest of four robbery suspects

4 p.m. - The Chief delivered a statement regarding the apprehension of four suspects connected to the two recent Garland-area bank robberies.

SPD arrests 16-time convicted felon

3:30 p.m. - Spokane Police arrest Repeat Offender and 16-time convicted felon, 29 year-old Alexander Stormy, after he attempts to flee from police.

Jan. 26

Suspect hits officer with vehicle while fleeing traffic stop

5 p.m. - 27 year-old Laci Anthony was arrested after hitting officer with vehicle while attempting to flee traffic stop.
