3:31 p.m. - Riverfront's ice ribbon, the first completed redevelopment project, will open Dec. 8. Riverfront also shared a new logo for the park's next chapter.

Riverfront Park Special Announcement Monday, October 30

4:22 p.m. - The grand opening date of the ice ribbon will be unveiled, plus another special announcement

Fall Leaf Festival at Finch Arboretum Saturday, October 28

9:42 a.m. - The trees are lighting up, naturally! Mother Nature is doing her best to paint the Arboretum in anticipation of Spokane’s annual celebration of fall.

Riverfront Park Art Plan Open House

9:26 a.m. - Riverfront Park Redevelopment lead artist Meejin Yoon will share preliminary design concepts for both an overall art plan and a signature art piece.

4:10 p.m. - The City of Spokane Parks & Recreation has partnered with the MAC to bring an exhibition of hand-carved horses from craftsman Charles I. D. Looff.

Section of Fish Lake Trail Intermittently Closed for Improvements

2:23 p.m. - Beginning Monday, October 9, a portion of the Fish Lake Trail will be intermittently closed for repair. Work is expected to be completed October 27.
