July 9 at Midnight - Starting July 14, the Parks and Recreation Department will close down one southbound lane of Ben Garnett Way each day through July 17, 2015.

City extends splash pad hours

July 6 at 3:31 p.m. - Spokane Parks and Recreation splash pads will open at 9 am beginning Tuesday, adding two additional hours.

Howard Street Bridge South in Riverfront Park to close for testing

July 6 at 3:09 p.m. - Testing will temporarily close the Howard Street Bridge South in Riverfront Park while crews complete geotech testing for the design of new pilings.
