This application was accepted into the 2019/2020 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Work Program by City Council on March 2, 2020 (see Resolution 2020-0014). The applicant has supplied all of the required application materials for full review of the proposal. On April 24 the City initiated a 15-day agency/department comment period. The associated Request for Comments is provided below for reference.
At the completion of the 14-day agency/department comment period, City staff will prepare a 60-day public comment period, during which workshops will be held with the Spokane Plan Commission. More information will be posted here when it is available. Please see SMC 17G.020 for details as to the procedure for Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
Please note that the City Council expanded this application to include the property at 5106 S Palouse Hwy. That portion of the application is the responsibility of the City and comments or questions regarding that question should be directed to Mr. Kevin Freibott, the Planner processing the applications.
