Spokane Police Officers make an arrest for Malicious Mischief when a woman throws eggs at cars from her fourth floor apartment downtown. The cars she was targeting were supporting a protest for the “reopening of businesses” in Washington.
This afternoon Spokane Police officers from the downtown precinct monitored a demonstration at Spokane Falls Blvd and Post Street. The protest was in support of the reopening of businesses closed because of the COVID event.
Throughout the event the protestors were peaceful and friendly. Dozens of cars were circling the area honking their horns and displaying signs in support of the event. Towards the end of the event police received reports of cars getting struck with eggs thrown from a nearby apartment building. Officers tracked down a female who was still armed with a carton of eggs, and perched in her fourth story window, located at 612 W. Main. The female was subsequently identified as Cindy L Albert, (52) and cited and released for 3 counts of Malicious Mischief and one count of Disorderly Conduct.
Albert is a resident of Los Angeles California, but claimed she is “stuck” in Spokane due to the COVID quarantine.
