Effective immediately the public window at the Police Records Department will be closed until further notice. However, while our public window is closed, our employees are still working to process firearm transfers and on-time CPL renewals, which can be done by mail. Directions can be found below.
The Spokane Police Department is accepting applications by mail for on time renewals of Concealed Pistol Licenses (CPL) that were originally issued in the City of Spokane. We will not be able to accept any new, late renewals past 90 days, or any renewals of Concealed Pistol licenses that originated from another jurisdiction. Along with your legible CPL application, we will also need a clear copy of your driver's license that has a current address, and a check or money order made payable to: City of Spokane. When your renewed CPL is approved, it will be mailed to you.
|Renewal CPL (You may renew up to 90 days prior to expiration)||$32|
|Expired CPL (You may renew up to 90 days after expiration for a $10 late fee)||$42|
